“Timeless Elegance, Legendary Style.”
A brand is something that encompasses anything and everything that goes into -and comes out of- a business. Everything from napkins, cocktails, newsletters, and tweets from employees all build up the brand of a company. I was flattered when I received the call to cover the US Grant’s centennial celebration which took place this past weekend.
Shortly before the main celebration, a private ceremony was held in the underground ballroom with mayor Jerry Sanders during which the head of a bottle of Dom Perignon was sabered off with the centennial sword. It was at that moment that I realized this event was going to be an awesome time.
Cocktails and appetizers from the hotel’s restaurant, The Grant Grill were served throughout the night with a charity auction to raise money for local non-profits.
There are few events which I feel truly do an outstanding job of preparation, planning, attention to detail, and over-all entertainment to represent a true brand image, and this was definitely one of those events.
The US Grant Hotel is located on Broadway in between 3rd and 4th avenue in San Diego. J Public Relations handles all media relations and did quite an impressive job this past Friday! I’m always impressed by the results they bring, as I’m sure their clients are too.
