It was a rainy weekend in Madrid, and no one wanted to go out. There were 3 stops on my list that were all within an hour of the city, so I decided it was then or never to make the trip. Friday night, I went to Toledo. This was my first trip on my own, and it was a little weird being in a city by yourself…but I kind of thrived on it. I went where I wanted, took as many photos in one spot as I wanted, and left when I wanted. It was completely free.
When I got there, it was raining pretty hard. I was a little worried about my camera getting messed up due to all the rain, but decided that sometimes, you just have to take risks and not worry. I’m here for only so long, and I’ve gotta make the most of it – no time to sweat the small stuff.
I ended up being pretty satisfied with the results – the rain actually gave me a lot to work with in terms of reflections in puddles, definition on surfaces, and cool candid photos of people walking with umbrellas. Not sure why I dig that look, but I feel it tells the story.
Here are the pics from the trip to Toledo!
