Photowalk: Russia

This past August, I decided to go on a trip to “the big red” with my friend & fellow photographer Masha Maltsava.  While I was originally going to try to make one post showcasing the trip – there was no possible way to include everything I wanted to share. So with today’s post, I’d like to show you some of my favorite architectural shots from my trip.  Tomorrow, I’ll give you the “behind the scenes” look & story about my trip out East!  (Including several photos of yours truly acting like the “Tim” you all know)

We walked…a lot.

Mega chicken.

The metro stations in Moscow were the most impressive I’ve ever seen.  There was a huge emphasis on architectural design in these structures more than any other buildings or properties in Russia.

Ze Kremlin!  Funny story about what happened here tomorrow…

Remember this set-up for tomorrow’s post…

Basilica de San Basilio

Saw this print on the ground shortly before this random dog started following us.  Hung out for a bit & then took off  : )

Perhaps my favorite image from the entire trip.  Love how smug this cat is.  Livin’ the life.

Cool entrance to a restaurant!

This is a popular “cheers” saying in Spain.  Made me think about all the fun times I had out there.

Lines.

A really cool restaurant with some edgy branding.  You’ll see what I mean in tomorrow’s post.

Moscow Blvd.

Gorky Park!

Loved the light on these trees.  This was from the last sunset of my trip…I’ll always remember the drive home!

Moscow at Sunrise.
