Photowalk: Paris, FR (Part 2)

My second day in paris was a rainy one. (And that’s an understatement)

I headed out mid-morning, and after about 30 minutes it really started to come down hard. This is when I decided I needed to get an umbrella. I stopped by a tourist stand to grab one real quick, and there were two options. (Get ready for some symbolism here) There was the cheap, quick, get-the-job-done umbrella for 6 Euros, or the nice, fancy, strong, purple umbrella for 12 euros. Even though I figured I would be leaving it behind when I left for the states the next day, I chose the lattter. And I’m so glad I did. (See pics for an example of what happened to someone that got the other umbrella)

Now onto the day at hand. It was raining pretty hard all day, which made for great photos. I really don’t know what it is, but umbrellas, paris, the eiffel tower, and old men wearing umpire hats just go hand in hand like cocaine and waffles. (10 points if you get the reference)
