Photowalk: French Quarter, New Orleans

On the last leg of my All-you-can-jet trip, and I decided last week that my final stop would be the great city of New Orleans! Couldn’t have made a better choice – the weather was a perfect 75 degrees with clear blue skies.

On my first day in town, I decided to go and check out the famous “French Quarter District.” Yes, this is where Mardi Gras is celebrated and Bourbon street gets rowdy. I’d have to say that this was probably one of my favorite photowalks I’ve ever done. I was literally overwhelmed with everything I wanted to photograph!

I almost went crazy trying to decide what/not to include in this post, so for your convenience – I’ve created a gallery with all of the photos I had taken for this walk & made it super simple if anyone would like to order prints. Click HERE to check em out!

Derrick Rennold - Awesome pics, my favorite would actually have to be the one where the guy is walking down the street, and the shot is out of focus except for the light flares. The rest of the shots are great, but I guess I really just like the abstract feel/story of the photo. Cool stuff man!November 14, 2010 – 1:46 pm

Ray Padmore - Hey Tim! Great shots! It was a pleasure meeting you while you were in town, love the photos. Give me a hollar if you’re ever in town again, will do the same if I ever make the venture out to SD!October 14, 2010 – 10:01 pm

Mario Herrera - Awesome pics man, I love those shots of the numbers on the doors/walls. Cool color contrast!October 10, 2010 – 6:21 pm
