So this post marks the first official post of my European “staycation” (I don’t really count my Belgium Photo walk since I was still en route to my initial destination). Barcelona was the first stop on my journey throughout the western region of Europe, and I have a feeling it will be one of my favorites. What better way to get to know the city than to do a Barcelona Photo walk?
I met up with my friend Megan, and we toured the city as best we could over a period of 2 days. Barcelona looks like it would be an awesome spot to go to the beach during the summer – it actually reminded me of Pacific Beach in San Diego with all the beachfront restaurants. One of my favorite things about the beach was that they had ping pong tables! (Pictured below)
Another idea I thought was pretty funny was that someone seemed to be pretty lazy in naming their luxury yacht – you can see in one of the photos that it bears the title, “whatever.”
Street photography is one of my favorite things to do in my off time, the toughest part is getting candid photos of people, but industrial photography and candid photos are key to improving your style as a photographer. Here are some of my favorite shots from the first day!

Klaus @ TechPatio - I agree with Craig (below), your photos have “that look” and it’s consistent. You really should spill the beans sometime and talk a little bit about how you post process to get that amazing look :)February 17, 2011 – 11:36 am
