Loews Coronado welcomed a new chef to the team this past month. Gabriel Morales just recently moved to San Diego, taking with him some pretty extensive experience from LA’s hot-spots Boa Steakhouse and the Beverly Hills Polo Lounge.
I had the chance to talk to him a few minutes before the shoot, and he’s actually a pretty interesting guy! He boasts a wine collection in his private home consisting of over 3,000 bottles of wine. Yeah – three THOUSAND.
On top of that, he made his down-payment for his house with a SINGLE case of wine. I’m guessing it must have had some amazing legs & savor…or it was a really small house…but I’m guessing it was the “former”.
