This past weekend, Pacific Beach welcomed a new pizza joint to the neighborhood.
I have to admit, I was a bit skeptical at first due to the fact that the restaurant is from a chain – and from Canada at that – (kidding) – but I think I’ve found my healthy alternative to the addiction formerly satisfied by Hoboken.
The weather didn’t favor Pacific Beach on Saturday, but it didn’t stop a huge crowd from coming out and trying out the new restaurant.
A group of professional sand castle builders came out to create a “Naked Pizza” sculpture which included some of the ingredients found in their pizza, along with different logos/icons the company’s branding.
One of the things I thought was pretty cool about the event was that the owner touted a Ferrari delivery vehicle. What would you think when you saw a delivery guy pull up in a new Enzo?

Ron Domingue - Thanks for the wonderful photos, we appreciate your help in making this event come to life!

Megan R - Tim, your photography work sounds like so much fun sometimes. I get stuck with crying babies and angry moms trying to make them smile while you’re out eating pizza and having fun. Ugh. Sometimes, you make me jealous.December 14, 2010 – 11:21 am
