I love this post for it pertains to some of the work I do. I’m actually under a contract doing nightlife photography for a local Austin artist named Tje Austin. Your honesty about the scene is dead-on, and that’s really refreshing. You do have to have pretty thick skin to tackle such fancy & intimidating late-nights, and you are totally the guy with the personality to do it, but you’re true to you, thus I love & respect ya! As for the lighting while getting into the limo, I guess it was just luck of the draw…was using available light from the street lights & just color-corrected the white balance in lightroom afterwards.
