I’m sure you’re probably familiar with the term “bucketlist,” but if not – it’s basically a list of important things a person wants to do in their lifetime.
I’ve felt that I’ve been pretty proactive in accomplishing the things I want to do in life, however I thought this would be a good checklist to look back on every few months and make sure I’m still progressing towards achieving all my goals.
If you want to create your own bucketlist, I think it would be a great idea – and if you do, tell me about it! I’d love to hear about what you want to accomplish in your lifetime, and if there’s anything ‘I’ can do to help you, let me know!
Usually bucketlists have categories like the following: Work, Family, Health, Philanthropy, Finances, Personal Development
Now I haven’t always been one to follow the rules, so I kind of just went right into making the list and didn’t really pay much attention to the categories. More or less, I feel like I lead a pretty healthy lifestyle and work towards improving my business on a continuous basis, so a lot of my goals listed here are focused on travel & fun. (Personal relationships and giving back are big priorities in my life, but I figured for the sake – and length of this post, I’ll leave those topics for another day.)
So here we go!
PS – If anyone is interested in doing one of these with me, feel free to drop me a line. I put the approximate dates next to each so you’ll have an idea of when I’m planning on doing it. (I’ll cross them off in the years to come when I’ve completed them in the time since this post)

Great post. Reading this makes me want to find the list I made back 10 yrs ago in high school and see what has happen. I also realize that some of the things we have done are taken for granted while others make bucketlists wishing to do those things. I grew up in NY so we visited the statue of liberty every year as a field trips at school and my parents would take us every time someone visit us and we had to go site seeing.
Good luck with your bucket list. I look forward to reading about your journey.August 2, 2011 – 9:24 am
