Had Brett in the studio to shoot some portraits for random PR usage – any press releases, flyer design, online media etc can incorporate these shots to enhance his brand.
It’s funny that when you think of DJ portraits, you imagine that cheesy-import-car-crouching pose with one hand pulled back and the other aimed towards the camera. (Well, at least I did when I did my first DJ shoot. I can’t believe I actually thought those shots were cool back then!) As I came to find out – in the DJ community, those guys with the cheesy poses, sunglasses on, making some kind of weird expression on their face are looked down upon – even laughed at by the better DJs on the scene today.
We ended up with some cool shots – you can check them out on some of the flyers out right now for Fluxx Nightclub or Sidebar.
