Photowalk: Denver #2

I just got in to Colorado yesterday, and I decided to do one of my favorite things: a photowalk. I haven’t done one of these in awhile, and I really should – it’s a great way to find new ideas, allow creativity to flow, and to just relax. I met up with my buddy Andrew...

One of the reasons why I love my work

Variety. While I may shoot some of the same venues time-to-time, I can’t express how much I really value the variety in my work. Just yesterday I did this shoot for Loew’s Coronado. They’re a pet-friendly hotel that allows dogs to stay at the resort, so they were in need of a photo to help...

Rockstar Photobooth at Andaz Hotel!

This was another booth I was really excited about. Yeah, even MORE excited than I am with other sporadic events that ask I bring a photobooth to the party. Why? Well, one of the main reasons I like photobooths is because I like buying stuff. Not sure why, but I just like the feeling of...

Mistral at Suzie’s Farm

The other day I was asked to cover an event being held at a farm. In all my days working as a photographer, I don’t think I’ve done anything quite like this – but I’m so glad I did. Mistral, a restaurant featured at the Loew’s Coronado Resort, took their chefs out of the hotel...

Maternity session with Ryan & Suzanne

Babies! Who doesn’t love them? I love kids, babies, their lighthearted attitude towards life…I don’t like the fact that ‘they’ don’t like airplanes much, but other than that – I think they’re pretty cool! When a friend of mine from the Hard Rock Hotel San Diego asked me to do some shots of him &...

Venue Menu cover shoot with Rubicon Deli

This shoot was for a local publication – The Venue Menu Magazine – it features a lot of local bars in downtown, north park, and pb/la jolla areas around San Diego. This shoot was a bit different than the others I’ve done – the usual focus is on the food, or maybe a few patrons...

Mikey - You posted it! Saw the mag earlier this week, nice job!August 16, 2010 – 2:25 pm

Ryan Sanger - This is a great shot for so many reasons. The negative space in the sky is perfect for the title, you’ve got the 2 people in the lower center to drawn in the point of view, and the people on the sides act as if they were somewhat of a decipating/declining/falling action of some sort. The logo on the side of the building pops, and the front side of the building fades nicely into the foreground.August 7, 2010 – 10:21 am
